For those interested in the DoD IBM Information Technology Users Group
(ITUG): I contacted one of the former group moderators, carolmc@ST-
LOUIS-EMH2.ARMY.MIL, because I couldn't reach the group. Her response
on 25 February 1989 was that ITUG is gone. There just hasn't been
enough interest to sustain the group.

This points out one of the hazards of using initials. ITUG is also
the acronym used by the International Tandem User's Group, which
is based in Chicago and which, based on my latest information, is
still very much alive. It publishes a journal and distributes user-
contributed Tandem utility programs.

I had assumed that the original poster was asking about the Tandem
group and had responded by mail with their current address.

If anyone needs the address of the Tandem group, I'll be glad to
supply it, but all my material relating to the Tandem ITUG group is
at work and I'm writing this at home.
