I need information to get or build a power supply for the COMMODORE64. 5 VDC 7.5 W ======= (I got this! ) 9 VAC 6.7 VA ======= (I can't find this anywhere). My power supply's 9 VAC is bad and it is too expansive(funny) to buy a power supply from COMMODORE. thanks! Simon Chan princeton!hhb!simon 201-848-8000

In response to Simon Chan's (pyrnj!hbb!simon@rutgers.edu) question about Commodore power supplies: Several third-party supplies are available. Many of these are servicable, unlike the Commodore "disposable" type. Check any Commodore specific magazine (RUN, Compute!'s Gazette, etc.) for ads. Also, you could try the Commodore list on BITNET. It is a listserv list. The address is COMMODOR@UBVM. Send the command SUB COMMODOR your name to LISTSERV@UBVM . Someone on that list might know. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
