We're considering an application that will create floppies for general
distribution, in so far as we'd like to reduce the chance of creating
poor floppies, I'd like to ask the net a question:
Are some floppy drive (manufacturers) better than others? I'm not talking
about minor things, I'm wondering if there are commercial grade versus
laboratory grade drives...
Responses that say something like "Maxtor has a model xxx drive that is
used by all the duplicator manufacturers" would be appreciated.
Obviously any pointers to standards (ANSI, etc) would be appreciated, as
would all responses to this request.
