[comp.sys.misc] Disk Notching Devices

there are several 'disk notching gizmos' on the market for
$20-$35 that claim to put a notch in a 720K 3 1/2" disk that
will make it identical to a 1.44 meg disk ... the claim is that
the media are IDENTICAL ... comments on this anyone?
