[comp.sys.misc] Bull "NCL" - Anyone heard of it?

evan@telly.on.ca (Evan Leibovitch) (08/18/89)

I'm presently involved in a client's purchase of a small Unix mini,
and Bull has proposed something based on the 68030 called the NCL Model
MR01. It hasn't been officially released yet, and I can't get my hands on
reliable benchmarks, data sheets, or even a photo of the beast...

I'm interested in any comments anyone might have about this model or
Bull products in general. I'm especially interested to hear from anyone
who's set up RFS on a Bull host as its literature makes me wonder about
the company's strength in networking.

Thank you.

PS: Please don't offer up any "Why don't you look at the XYZ system?"
replies. Bull isn't the only bidder, and we're too far down the selection
process anyway...
