I have heard that Intergraph has come out with an X-windows style user interface for clipper workstations. It is called Looking Glass. I don't know any more than that, but would like to. Is this product available yet? If so what is it like? How will my current products work under it. Does it take much disc space? Are security, plotting and other system managemnet issues difficult to deal with? Thanks Eric Anderson Programmer/Analyst Ayres Associates

Intergraph and Visix have signed an agreement that allows Intergraph to sell Looking Glass with their machines. I have seen Looking Glass on a Sun system and I was very impressed with the interface, so much so that I plan to use it in a number of areas. If you want more information I suggest you give Visix a call. The person I have dealt with there is Rick Willhite and their number is 703-841-5840.
