I bought a PackMate II system (an IBM AT compatiable) a few days ago. When I tried to install the mouse the first time, it worked fine. But later, accidentally, I reboot the system by puting a floppy with an old version of DOS into the floppy drive a: (my computer has a hard drive running on DOS 3.3 and it supposed to boot from that hard drive). That action made my computer went crazy and it forced me to run the SETUP program. I don't remember what I did after that, but after I ran the SETUP program, the computer seemed to run ok with the hard drive, but the serial card seemed to have something wrong. Here is the problem I'm facing with: When I tried to install the mouse by issued the command LMOUSE /M1 (to install it on serial port #1) then I got message like: LITE MOUSE VER_1.5: serial card not found. I already call Packard Bell to ask for a solution, but each time I called, they ask for my name & phone number, and they never return my call as promised. So I decided to distribute this problem to the world to ask for help. Please help me!!
