A friend here at work's father got his hands on a DG Nova 3 (circa 1975 he thinks). The machine has PPoint (sp?) and several paddle switches on the front (according to his description). My questions is this: How can he get some documentation on this system, and how do you boot the darn thing? If you have any ideas/suggestions (no flames - he only paid 7 bucks for the thing!) email me at: uunet!bcstec!misty.walden (I think) Thanks in advance, Bill #include <stdisclaimer.h> I do NOT speak for Boeing!

I ran into the same problem about 8 years ago (aquiring a Nova 3/12). I called and talked with the local DG sales office. I had 2 disk drives but no Tape device or card reader. (Basically I was "hosed".) A tape drive would have cost me ~2,000 at the time. Since I only paid shipping for the system (~$200.) I could not justify the cost. I ended up selling the system to a used computer dealer for ~$500. The sales office provided me (free of charge!) all their old documentation on the system. They had not had a call on the system in over a year. MY opinions are My OWN. In no way to they reflect those of my employer... I'm soo confused!..............
