I'm currently porting a largeish (>10,000 lines, several dozen modules, several directories/libraries) from Turbo C 2.0 to Microsoft C 6.0. Has anyone any experience in this area? I am having great difficulty because MS C seems to have so many damned options and I can never remember which is set or not. Things will sometimes work and sometimes not for no apparent reason. Is there any easy way to change directory from within the PWB? I wan to be able to run PWB under Desqview but not always in the same directory. If I specify a different directory when opening a file PWB doesn't seem to be able to find make files etc. in that directory. My overall impressions so far are: a) it's FAR more complex than Turbo C to get going b) it's a LOT slower even using the "Quick" compiler c) the PWB interface was designed by someone who had never done the sort of exercise I'm undertaking. If anyone has any useful tips please mail me. Deryk Barker, Jupiter Software, Victoria BC. "Send Lawyers, Guns and Money, Dad, get me out of this!"
