I am posting this article for a friend who has email access but
a flakey news site. Please reply to:

I am now the proud owner of a Altos 486 machine (no, it has a 80186, 486
is the model number). The only problem with it is that when I got it, it
had no hard disk, and no floppys. I need to locate copies of the OS which
was some derivative of Unix, and the diagnostics diskette that goes along
with it. Is there anyone out there that can help me?

Please reply by E-mail, our newsfeed is *very* unreliable!

Thanks in advance!
