[comp.sys.misc] WANTED: Parts and information for PERQ computers

ac999321@umbc5.umbc.edu (ac999321) (03/05/91)

Wanted: Cheap or reasonably priced parts such as CPU, memory & I/O
boards, disk drive interfaces, tape drives, etc. for Perq
computers such as the Perq1, Perq T-2, etc.

Also wanted for Perq computers:
(if you can't part with the following, I'll pay for copies)

Manuals for the Accent operating system

Manuals for the PNX and QNX operating systems

Boot floppies and OS floppies for the POS and Accent operating systems

Boot/OS floppies for the POS and QNX operating systems

Information pertaining to programming these systems in microcode

Schematics and service data, service manuals, etc.

  FORTRAN compiler

Programs in Perq Pascal and microcode, _with_ source code

Information on using a tape drive with this system that uses
  type DC-300 tape cartridges.

Any other information pertaining to these machines, including
original sales data, brochures, performancs specs, etc.

Note: the above are for personal use; I don't have the resources of
a large company to pay high/unreasonable prices for any of the
above. I just like these systems and want to keep them running
for a while and want to experiment with them.

I'd also like to exchange information and software with other users
of these systems.

If anyone knows of a users group in existence anywhere for these
machines, I'd be interested in joining it. If not, is there anyone
who would be interested in forming such a users group?
