Well, this is a partial follow up to the other article that I posted.
I managed to get the modem on the AnnexIIe to work in bidirectional
mode, but there is still one problem that many people here have tried
to fix. Namely when you connect to the annex on the specified port
with telnet the characters are not echoed back to the telnet session.
The commands do work as you type them as I can dial out and connect to
a remote modem, but I never get a result code saying that I have
connected.
I have hooked up a terminal in series with the line from the modem
to the annex and I can see what I type is echoed on the terminal, but
not back to the person.
If you think that you can help with this problem, please contact me
and I can mail you my parameters for the modem and for the annex port.
(btw, the modem is a telebit T1600).
