T6T-VIRT@FINTUVM.BITNET (11/29/88)
Hello everyone out there | I have red all the postings during several months on this newsgroup and the activity has been increased ever since... Well ,I have also built a NS32032 DK -based system which is currently running at 10Mhz with only 128Kb of Sram memory and TDS (which is nothing but "Total Di saster System").I am designing an SCSI and DMA controller board as well as Dram board to little expand the *big* memory of the current system. But the problem is : Where to get some sort of C-compiler that can be run und er some (I would not want to say "PC-DOS ") non-unix -machine to get some usefu l software modules to be created for the 32K ? I remember somebody (Was it Marcus Lewis?)saying that there is a Cross-C-compil er for ns32k that will run under pcdos. I have also thought of having GNU-C run ning under my PC but that seems to be impossible because of the lack of memory.
