[comp.sys.nsc.32k] 32000 assembler & GCC

bcd@psuecl.bitnet (Bryan Davis) (06/06/89)

We have simple assembler for the 32000 series processors. It is written
in Turbo-C for the IBM-PC. If anyone is interested in something like this
please send me email.

We are looking for a version of GCC specifically for the '532. If anyone
knows of something like ... please send email also. Thanks.

I would like a copy, unless some of my local compatriots have already asked.
I am the only local owner (other than the EET type who keeps building them)
but I/we collect assemblers. Especially for NSC processors.
To my knowledge there is no GCC specifically for the '532. To my other knowledge
it shouldn't make any difference, since if you are going to really write for
speed, you should be doing assembler tuning anyway. Yes?

This is not a proper reply, but this is most of what the mailer sent back.
