[comp.sys.nsc.32k] Instruction format & addressing modes

haug@toto.uucp (Brian R Haug) (10/24/89)

I recently tried to program a 32106 the hard way (via a hex load that was
hand assembled). Try as I might, I could not figure out how to write a
jump instruction to (say 0x123456) such that the instruction could be
placed anywhere in memory. I did not want to use a relative address (10
away from the current pc). Can anyone supply the assembler instruction
I should have used and the corresponding hex representation? Please reply
by email to haug@Columbia.NCR.COM, as toto is a duplicate uucp site.

My apologies for posting what is probably a trivial question, but my
reasoning has become clouded by other processors.
