[comp.sys.nsc.32k] Used Computer Locator - April Fools Issue

wilk@cinnet.COM (Ken Wilkinson) (01/30/90)

Update: We are getting ready to publish our first issue of the
Computer Locator Magazine. It should be in the mail by
second or third week of Feb. For those who don't know
yet, The UCL is a new magazine whose audience is buyers
and sellers of used computers, parts, chips, electronics
and appropriate surplus. Interesting huh? At this time we
are trying out the concept of a "shareware Magazine" so
subscriptions are "free" for now. To make this work I will
need your help. If you know of anyone who should be advertising
in our magazine please encourage them to contact us.

   New business:

I want to do a April Fools issue. Remember the old Byte
and the classic Computer Language issue? I think it would
be fun to have in the UCL some fake ads, maybe a short article
etc. which would poke fun a the current state of affairs in
the computer society. Any suggestions? Also interested in amusing
anecdotes (computer follies) such like were posted here about a year ago.

If you wish to be on the suscription list please also email
           your full ground mail address.
