I got 1 drive thru the group buy, and subsequently ordered 2 more fron CSC for our department. The drive from the group buy had a stapled set of sheets, consisting of the first page of some of the chapters in the REAL manual (from MiniScribe). The 2 other drives came with spiral bound manuals, consisting of the first page(s) of some of the chapters. One of these manuals had two covers in place of the first page. 8-) The FULL manual has all chapters,1 thru 11, and append. A-B. 1 Introduction 2 pages 2 Product Spec. 4 pages 3 Functional Description 4 ESDI Elect. Interface 5 Esdi Phys. interface 6 ESDI-serial mode implimentation 7 Installation 8 SCSI elect. Interface 9 9380S jumper instructions 10 Error codes 11 unpack/ and inspection A Defin. and measurement of seek time B 9380SA Apple compat.- vendor specific implimentation of page mode 0x3c (software select id) Scsi info is mostly in chapt. 8 -8 pages long. Chapt 9 has jumper settings. Chapt 6 has esdi info, and the only discussion of the J12/13 jumpers. >From chapt 6, the ESDI chapter... For the 9380E <== LOOK, an "E"!!
