[comp.sys.nsc.32k] It's finally up!

Well, I got a bit more time to play with that board, and it had 'stuff'
comming out of the serial port. I hooked it up to a terminal, but the
terminal is wired funny, and I can't find any breakout boxes 8-(. I did
put the board back on the logic analyser, and found that the 'problem' I
had last time was that I was triggering on every rising edge of bclk, after
reset did it's thing. Well, a 1K state memory can't see the end of that
800uS loop right at the start of the code... (Machines only do what you
tell them, not what you want them to do... 8-). I checked the ICU and it
got it's pulses in. (I only saw 6, but the scope made one of them a bit
wider so it counts twice.) Finally, I put the 'scope on the TxD pin of
port 0, and saw it wiggle. Nice looking signal, looked like about 9600
baud, but can't bet my life on it 8-). Also swap finally... well swapped,
and the refresh pin of the ICU was 30uS! I am pretty sure that it was
working last time I wrote, (with the exception that I have 8-bit memory,
and the parity pal was in at the time), but it looks very good now.

My next set of questions will probably be on connecting disks, and installing
minix, etc. but you all get a break for now.

eat my words now...)
