Thanks go to George, Dave, Steve, Bruce, etc., and esp. Robert Specman who was a local rep for National Semi. I have never seen him, but he sampled me the 532 chip, and made the whole thing affordable for me. I heard that he is with NEC in CA somewhere now... Add jonb@vector to the list of systems that are up, and could someone please send me a copy of the non-fpu monitor, I would ftp it myself, but I can only send email, and the princeton ftp server never responds to my requests... 8-( Thanks to all who helped. -- Jon Buller jonb@vector.dallas.tx.us ..!texsun!vector!jonb FROM Fortune IMPORT Quote; FROM Lawyers IMPORT Disclaimer;

Sorry to hear that Robert Speckmann is not with National anymore. He was a real NS32 enthusiast who helped me and other hobbyists who could never have bought big-buck stuff. He sent me a '332 chip years ago and even though I never wire-wrapped anything (don't tell him!) using it, it was enough of an inspiration to me to keep me plugging away until real soon, now, I should have a lightning-fast PC-532! Let me know if you find out what happened to him...
