The Jan 1991 issue of Dr. Dobbs Journal contains part 1 of a 3 part article by William Jolitz and Lynee Jolitz on a BSD 386 port. In the Editorial on page 6 in referring to the BSD 386 port states; "Althought the specific details are still being worked out, the general approach is that there will be no restrictions on who can license the source -- including the kernel and all utilities. There will be a nominal license free and UC notices must remain in the code." Can anyone amplify further on this development ?? Is it correct to assume that this will enable sharing of the BSD-pc532 port ?? -- John Connin: manatee Orlando, Florida UUCP: {uunet,ge-dab,ucf-cs}!tarpit!tous!manatee!johnc
