Several of you have emailed to ask whether I ever got my sick Miniscribe from
the group disk buy fixed.  I appreciate everyone's concern.  Here is the 
current status:

Not yet.  Yesterday, after months of digging around whenever I had time, 
trying to locate the invoice which I was beginning to believe was one of the
casualties in my basement flood this summer, I found it!  Unbelievably enough,
it was filed in one of the places "where it should be", dunno how I missed it
so many times before.   [sigh]  I'll be on the phone today to CSC (again), 
hopefully an RMA will be immediately forthcoming now that I have the invoice 
number.  I'll report again when (not if!) the drive is fixed and in service.  

Continues to amaze me that a place that sells as many gigabytes of disk space
in a given day as they do runs entirely on paper invoices...
