SMC made a SCSI controller series, the OMTI 7100/7200/7300 that handled
floppies, winchesters and/or tapes. This was 2-3 years ago, but I suspect they
still make them.

Reading from the manual, the adrs is (was)
	SCIENTIFIC MICRO SYSTEMS
	339 Nth Bernardo Ave
	Mountain View
	California
	415-964-5700

We have one, but not got around to trying it (yet). The later ICM3216's had
drivers in the release for this controller, so if you have access, have a
gander. If not, I'm not sure if I can send you a copy. What's NSC's policy for
discontinued products like this ???

There were some tools a while back called "mtools" that came over the net,
that supported MESSY-DOG floppies on a unix system, which may also help.
