[comp.sys.nsc.32k] OPUS 32.32 card

alex@umbc4.umbc.edu (Alex S. Crain) (04/27/91)

	Hi.

While it's not as fancy as the 32532 card that everybodies talking
about, I just aquired an Opus PM110 card in a trade. This is a 10Mhz 32032
with an FPU and 4 megs of memory on a plug in card for an XT. The system
runs SysVr3.1, bootstrapped from DOS.

Anyway, I don't have mine up yet (I'm still haggling over a used
at&t 6300 to put it in), I'd be interested in talking to anyone who has
one of these beasties. My main goal is to use it as a common lisp engine
and hang it off one of the serial ports on my 3b1, and I'd like to play
with some of the available color graphics cards.

My immediate problem is a parity error in one of the memory banks.
I'm trying to track down an algorithm to map a memory address to a chip,
the guy who swapped me the card is looking into it for me, if anyone has
any hardware experiance with this thing, I'd like to talk to you.

	ThanX for listening.
