[comp.sys.nsc.32k] shells

s861298@minyos.xx.rmit.oz.au (Marc A. Boschma) (06/17/91)

Well with my pc532 down I have some time to actually catch up on news.
I got sick of sh after a while and ported rc (the one sent out over
the net not so long ago). It posted very easily. It allows aliasing/functions
and although alittle strange at first, it alot better than sh for alot of
things.

When my hard disk is back up...(oh for a month or two without it down)
I'll post the sources as modified. If someone can port GNU readline
the shell will allow command editing.

Readline is part of bash and works fine. I'll post the diffs to
readline with the bash diffs.
