I regret to say that really cheap hard disks are very hard to come by. Last year there were still people closing out TIPC surplus stuff, but those sources seem to have dryed up. Checking ads in the User Group newsletters and the SenTInel are really the only safe options. For those with Western Automation Seeker-1 boards, it is possible to use the Xebec 1410A board to interface a PC hard disk. Those boards have been available in surplus but are also disappearing, and there are no quarantees.
