I have finished a project to increase the drive section 12volt power supply that has worked out pretty well. I can now power a HARD DRIVE 1/2 height and a 1/2 height floppy with the P.E.B. If anyone is interested in also doing this project, please drop me a line. The parts for this project can be found at any electronics store and at a cheap price. I have also added a second 12 volt power supply to power a small 12volt DC fan that I have added to the drive section for ventilation of the drives. The total cost for the projects is around $35.00. I now have 5 amps for the drives and 1 amp for the fan. I have had the P.E.B. run for over 24 hrs with no heat or power problems. If you are handy with electronics, then this may be the project for you. The reason I did this project is because I purchased a MYARC HFDCC and didn't want to have a messy system spread out all over my desk.
