[comp.sys.ti] need memory maps for TI-Pro

trish@brillig.umd.edu (Tricia Jones) (03/08/89)

Does anyone out there have some all-purpose memory maps for the Pro?
We are particularly interested in screen maps. I discovered in the
BASIC manual that the graphics planes are located at $C000, $C800,
and $D000, and after much experimentation, we discovered that we could
write to the screen by placing characters at segment $DE00.

We are trying to port an IBM-version Turbo Pascal hypertext program
that uses some IBM-specific forms of graphics output. We figured
out the text display, but now we need to figure out how to highlight
text, set the background and text colors, etc. This is all for our
own fun and entertainment--nothing commercial, of course. And any
information you can give us will be used for further fun and
entertaining projects. If we come up with anything useful, we
may even post somewhere!

Thanks,
