Does anyone know of an 80 column terminal package for the TI? Or,for that matter,a terminal package with VT-type emulation? *Any* help will be appreciated! -- / / |\ | / / | / ~Marty Saletta @ Fredonia,New York~~Leafs:5th place~ / __ /__ | \| /__ / | / ~Atari ST,New York Yankees,Who,Pink Floyd,ELP,Fripp~ \ / \ | | \ \ | \ ~Toronto Maple Leafs,Yes,CZ-1,Mad Max,and hi Lorie~~ \/ \ | | \ / | / ~~~~~UUCP: ...decvax!sunybcs!fredonia!sale5312~~~~~~

I wrote an 80 column adm3a emulator for the TI99/4a, it uses a 40 column screen and windowing to get the full 80 columns (like TI-Writer, but the windows don't jump by 40 columns) it was quite useful as a full screen editor on an ibm-370 as a minimum, it needs: {tiwriter | editor assembler | minimem | Xbasix } & { 32k mem } & { disk drive } if you are interested, email me at the address below: Paul Charlton { paulc@hpgrai.hp.com } | { hplabs!hpgrai!paulc }

I tried sending this by email to Paul Charlton (paulc@hpgr{la,ai}); both got bounced back. As a last resort, I'm posting it back to comp.sys.ti. Paul, are you out there? In article <10290002@hpgrla.HP.COM> you write: > [Fast-Term] was quite useful as a full screen editor on an ibm-370 It still is useful -- I'm using it now! I ordered fast-term from you 2 or 3 years ago, version 1.16pc. Have you released any updates? I have found one problem -- hitting ^i sends a ^l. Is this a feature or a bug? It doesn't seem useful, since ^l works just fine. Also, is there any way to send a ^] (should be sent by hitting ^=, but that got mapped into "quit")? Thanks in advance. --dave -- Dave Stuit dave@jarthur.claremont.edu OR dave@jarthur.uucp OR uunet!jarthur!dave USnail: Platt Campus Center, Harvey Mudd College, Claremont, CA 91711
