[comp.sys.ti] Details on CorComp Rs232 wanted

ego@itsgw.rpi.edu (Erik G Olson) (12/30/90)

I have an extra sidecar CorComp RS232 which I want to use
as a base for building hardware. Does anyone have either
a schematic for any model of CorComp Rs232, or maybe the
disassembled DSR code for it? This would be a tremendous help.
If not, I'm off to figure out everything the hard way.

My plan is to stick a 6802 microprocessor out there,
and connect it via serial i/o, for data, and then add
several interrupt line connections to trigger 6802 interrupts.
The 6802 would read data from a high-speed data acquisition
system's memories-- such as a homemade logic analyzer--
and send it to the 4A's serial port when interrupted.

I have the disassembled source code for the TI RS232 card. I believe
all the third party RS232 cards copied the DSR ROMS from the TI version.
It is available via anonymous ftp to star.acs.umn.edu. For anyone
interested, I also have disassembled code for the TI disk controller
card, the console ROMs (from a 99/4A), and the Mini Memory module. Lots
of good information. If anyone has a problem getting them, send me
some E-mail, and I can mail them to you.
