I am writing this to find out what luck you all have had using SpartaDOS on the 8-bits... I bought my 8-bit primarily because Kyan Pascal was available for it, but even with the 130xe ramdisk, writing programs becomes a hassle... I have heard so many good things about SpartaDOS, and the US Doubler (file time/date stamping, double density, triple disk i/o speed, etc. subdirectories...) that I finally went out and bought it recently... it is tremendous at first use, but I have had problems using it... the Kyan macro assembler doesn't seem to want to work with it... Anybody else using this combination? Otherwise, it is trully great... the ability to put both Express850 and Chameleon on a dd disk and run either one and then the other without rebooting is nice... no reloading the rs232 handler, etc... Anybody have a memory map for SpartaDOS 3.2? (I will be talking to ICD, but maybe somebody has one already on line?)
