This subject has probably appeared on the net before, but was too ugly for me to remember. Anyway, a colleague from another university has a student who wants to implement the uucp system on cpm as a project. Assuming one has a cpm-running machine with a valid Unix license (?!?), it shouldn't be that impossible to port the code. Question: Has anyone ever heard of this being done before? Please no flames. It would be very helpful if CP/M could handle file names such as 30 6,22 * * * * /bin/su uucp -c "/bin/touch /usr/spool/uucp/C.sequeln0000" where sequal could be 8 characters ... -- Chuck Forsberg Computer Development Inc Portland OR cdi!caf (503)-646-1599
