Does anybody out there using a Coomodore or Atari also use one of those cheapie Smith Corona Fastext 80 printers that were cleared out a few years ago? If so, has anybody been able to find an interface that actually works with it? In case you haven't heard heard of it, the Fastext is (was) an extremely competent printer which I got at "Toys R Us" for $150 (plus Cardco B interface) two years ago. Unfortunately, all the B does with it is print text, and my efforts at graphics have been stymied by the fact that the Fastext's printer codes are unlike any other printer...even other SC printers. I wrote Cardco once and they said they could customize a G-Whiz for me, but of course now they're out of business. I would appreciate being able to get graphic dumps on the machine... especially if Berkeley comes up with a GEOS that works with that darn Cardco disk drive of mine (another story entirely. Sometimes you do get just what you pay for.) I'd appreciate the email of any advice. Mark McDermott Bowling Green State U, Ohio !mcdermot!bgsuvax
