I have just recently received an atari 800xl from someone who said they
had no use for it. Not being one to look a gift horse in the mouth I
took it. All I have is the micro, no joy-sticks or drives. I just priced
a 1050 disk drive and it costs more than the micro did when new. I can't
seem to find a cassette drive for it but I've not been looking long.
I quess what my question for you atari owners is ... Is this worth pursuing?
Should I just try to find games and use it as a video game? How easy is it
find games and programs for the 800xl and how much do they run? Do any of
you have any technical info on it? Who has one and what has been your
experience with it?
