RE: Object Code relocator. The only thing close to relocatable code generator for Atari 8 bits that I have heard of, is a back-end thing done by Keith Ledbetter. It is takes as input 2 object files compiled at origins $102 bytes apart, and attaches some relocating code. It imposes a few constraints on how to reference memory. It also doesn't take into account SpartaDOS and DOS XL (I believe they will try to enter the code at the load point after processing the INIT and RUN vectors like Atari DOS... which will crash the system unless you "manually" put an RTS at the load-point, I think) Sounds like John Dunning is going to brew us up another nifty tool here; in the meantime does anybody want Keith Ledbetter's relocatable code generator? I can post it with Docs within a week if anybody wants... Richard Curzon Digital Equipment of Canada PO Box 13000 Kanata Ontario K2K 2A6 Canada.
