[comp.sys.atari.8bit] T:Edit & Xmodem

V111MFQ6@UBVMS.BITNET.UUCP (11/14/87)

I'm not sure what Analog had T:Edit in it, but I have it and a little doc
file that just tells what keys do what, if anyone wants it, they can send me
mail, and I'll either send it out individually, or if alot of people want it,
I'll just send it to info-atari8.

Since Atari 8-bits and most aother computers, including mainframes, use
different return characters, there will be a problem. You can do one of
two things:

1) Get a program to convert the return characters, I have one that works
rather well, if anyone wants it, I'll send it as above.
2) Get Chameleon. In Chameleon, you can specify a file is a text file, and it
will convert the return characters, tabs, etc. while it is sending or
receiving.
