Does anyone know why? I am not familiar with the 320K Peterson upgrade, but am fairly familiar with the Newell 256KXL board. I know that it is tricky to get even 256K to be addressable while maintaining compatibility with the 130XE extended memory mapping scheme. If you have a description of the Peterson upgrade's addressing scheme, I might be able to help you figure out what is going on. They may be using a different address to control the bank switching, or they may be using the same address ($D301) but using the bits differently. By the way, I'd love to get a copy of "The Works" if, as you said, it is Public Domain! -John Sangster / jhs@mitre-bedford.arpa
