I've been using a CIT-101 for about a year now, and I believe it has a few advantages over the real VT100. For one thing, the keyboard is much more difficult to steal, as it is directly attached to the main module, rather than plugged in. (The plug can be made more secure, and the direct connection can be inconvenient, but...) If you don't happen to have a VT-100 programming card, you may appreciate the fact that the 101 explains its set-up modes, telling you what option you are messing with and how it is currently set. Overall, I would recommend it. -Dave Aronson idis!mi-cec!dja da2p%cmcctd@cmuc
