I belong to a user group here in Halifax, The Nova Scotia Atari Computer Users Group and we have an on-going project with the local Children's Hospital. We had arranged to obtain an Atari system, complete with Drive to donate to them. We are still working with the Hospital's Staff and others to provide additional items for them. We would like to obtain PD software which is educational in nature and also games of a non-violent type. This lets out most of the standbys, like Millipede and Asteroids clones and equivalents, even some Adventures. They rejected Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Would anyone like to suggest software that would be classed under these categories? Thanks. As for the PD educational and games, if someone would also suggest where we might obtain them, ie bbs's preferably in the east coastal regions of the US or Midwest. or other users groups. I have been known to call even to California. However we need to know the names of these programs, and what kind, ie educational or whatever and if educational, which age/grade level it would fit under. The kids at the Isaac Walton Killiam Children's Hospital will be most appreciative. Thanks for reading this message. George Seto - Using a friend's account.
