[comp.sys.atari.8bit] ROM cart dumps

There are a number of programs available to do this, but I don't know if
they're in the public domain. Most of them seem to be sold in packages with
disk editors and other such potential protection-busting tools.
If no-one else replies, I'll try to look up a few. I don't own one right now,
but I'm considering buying one.

Does anyone out there on the net have one short enough to post?

P.S.: It's important to know if you're dealing with a standard cart or a
bank-switched "super cart." I don't imagine that there's an easy way,
and therefore any way at all, to produce an executable disk file from
a bank-switched cart. The problem would be not in extracting the code,
but in hacking it into a form which would run as a continuous program
rather than trying to bank-switch a non-existant copy of itself :-)
If I'm wrong, let me know.
