Scott Parrish's suggestion of a 1.5inch ring binder for "de re Atari" reminded me that I found that you can get such a document bound in a "GBC" binder (General Binding Corp., Chicago) -- the kind with the plastic spine with fingers and rectangular holes in the pages -- at many local print shops for around $1.50. Check it out -- it's about as easy to use as a 3-ring binder, probably cheaper, and certainly more compact. Hint: A transparent vinyl front cover and a black vinyl back cover looks very professional if the cover page of the document is atractive, which is certainly the case with de re Atari. Another hint: I like to include 5 to 10 blank pages at the back for handwritten notes when I send it in to be bound. Still another: If you work for a sizeable company with their own print shop, they almost certainly have a GBC binder machine they'll let you use if you sweet-talk the right person. Question: Are these guys duplicating it themselves? Is this a legal source? -John Sangster / jhs@mitre-bedford.arpa
