I actually have 2 1450XL systems for sale...... The first is a 1450XLD complete for sale. It includes the twin disk drives, case, power supply, and is in perfect condition. The second is a 1450XL and is less case, power supply, and disk drives. Both units have the on-board 300 baud modem and speech synthesizer. Both units work fine. What!!?? You mean these legendary machines actually existed??!! I remember way back about 5-6 years ago when these were nothing more than rumors coming from Atari. yes there were a few of the 1450 systems made. They had to exist so that pictures for advertising could be made. Engineering also had to have some made so that developers sould start writing applications for the voice syth. One developer that actually had one was Dave Small (at least i think it was dave). rich andrews -- Any opinions expressed are my own.
