Will the supercarts work on a 1200xl? I would especially like to know about the games that were written by Accolade. A while ago I had baught one of their games at toys-r-us, and it wouldn't run. The screen would go black, and the two leds (L1 and L2) would blink alternately. Luckily, this happened before they changed their policy on software returns.. I got my money back, and the woman at the desk said "I guess it didn't like your computer." Interesting comment, I thought.... I can't remember the name of the game off hand, but it was a flight simulator which simulated bombing missions (I forget from what war). Once these games are put into supercart. format, will they run on the 1200xl, or will they still be incompatable? Ray Courtois Bitnet: PHR140@URIMVS

The only supercart we tried was Blue Max and it worked fine. The rest of the games we tried were the standard carts like Pacman etc. Hope this eases some of your concerns. BTW anyone out there in NET LAND know if Commnet Systems the maker of Forem are still in existance?? I'm trying to purchase a version of Forem to run on the 8 bit but can't obtain a copy anywhere. I've been looking for messages on the net by Matthew Singer the author of Forem but have not seen any message from him either. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Matt Hetman

Just to make sure there were no problems, we had someone try the three Accolade titles (Hardball, Fight Night, and Ace of Aces) on a genuine 1200XL today, and they all worked.
