Yes, there *ARE* Centronics interfaces out there, ie. Centronics Parallel,
you do not specifically say Parallel, but I assume (no flames for assumption
please...) if that is what you mean, here is what I know of for the Atari
8-bit series. I own an 800XL, 1050 Drive, Color monitor etc...

*NOTE: all of these work by being hooked to an Atari computer by using the
       SIO port via SIO cable.

To list: 850 interface 1 Parallel, 4 RS232. The parallel will hook up
to a Centronics printer, I know I *own* both the 850 and an Epson
RX-80 Centronics Parallel printer.... The 850 is still available
used and *NEW* look in ANTIC and/or Analog (groan...) for the
            whereabouts of said 850...

Printer Connection, 1 Parallel port for hooking up to a Centronics
            Parallel printer.

            P/R Connection, 1 Parallel, 1 or 4 RS232 ports similiar I have
heard to the 850 but I have never seen one.

The 850 is made by Atari, the Printer Connection and P/R Connection are made
by ICD Corp. out of Illinois. I was going to buy a P/R connection till I
found a place in California that sold 'Like New' 850's for 89.00, have had
mine for over 4 months with no problems, and none are forseen... If you
want the address of the place I bought my 850 let me know, I can even dig
up the address(s) of the places of the other places that sell the P/R and
Printer Connection... (B and C Computervisions is where I bought the 850.)

Disclaimer: I do not work for 1)Atari, 2)ICD or 3)B & C, I am just a happy
customer of 1 and 3, and am trying to help a fellow Atarian.
            [Happy net.gods!?]

                              Sincerly,
