I HAVE GOTTEN THE IMPRESSION THAT THE MIO USES DOWNLOADABLE SOFTWARE ; DOES THIS MEAN THAT ONE COULD INTERCEPT PRINTER CONTROL CHARACTERS AND MODIFY SAME, THUS MAKING A PRINTER APPEAR TO BE DIFFERENT THAN IT ACTUALY IS.

Looking for a source for the ICD MIO - either 256 or 1 Meg. I called ICD and they put my name on the list for the time when/if they ever build them again - if chip prices ever come down. Meanwhile - any other source info would be appreciated. Bill Fisher / bfisher.es@Xerox.COM
