Hello all, I just finished typing in speedscript 3.0 out of Compute May 1985 vol. 7, No. 5. And I was wondering has anyone used it? If so, could you give me a clew as to how to exit it without turning off the computer? I am using it on an Atari 800xl with Spartados and a percom dd/ds drive. I would like to use it with cc8, but I cant get out of it. I read through the article and I see only one way to get back to dos, and that is if you are useing os/a+ which I dont have.. Any suggestions? Please reply to me as I am not able to get the news group here. Jim Otto..

Jim Otto asks about SpeedScript 3.0... I started typing it in a couple of years ago, and then found out about OMNIVIEW and OmniWriter, which is a much-enhanced version of the old SpeedScript. Most of the commands are the same, but 80 column screen displays make it just like a "real" word processor. I suggest you look into OMNIVIEW for your 800XL and run OmniWriter, which comes on a disk included with OMNIVIEW (which is a replacement O/S ROM). -John Sangster / jhs@mitre-bedford.arpa
