I've heard a lot of good stuff about this SpartaDos X cart, so I decided to buy it. Unfortunately, all the mail-order places I try either say it's not yet available, was available but is no longer, or they've never heard of it. Anybody know where I can lay hands on this mythical beast?

Anybody know where I can lay hands on this mythical beast? It's not mythical, but it's hard to get... At the last [11/5/88] Suburban Chicago Atarians (SCAT) meeting, I asked an Atari dealer if ICD had shipped him any SDX carts. He said that he has back-orders dating from June! (And we're in the same state [IL] as ICD :-) So, I gave up on asking for it for Christmas :-( Nick DiMasi njd@ihlpm.ATT.COM ...att!ihlpm!njd DELPHI: TURBONICK Uni'q Digital Technologies (Fox Valley Software subsidiary; ^ working as a contractor at AT&T Bell Labs in Naperville, IL) ( | this is an accent mark, supposed to replace the dot over the 'i')

If you want the SpartaDos X cart then call ICD themselves. Their number is (815)968-2228. Currently they are shipping it with a preliminary manual which has a major bug in it. Wherever you see the word "WINDOWED" substitute the word "BANKED". That is the bug, took me days to figure out.
