Has anyone heard anything about GEO lately?? There is only
one good sized computer store in the area that still gets atari
8-bit stuff, and they say they havn't heard anything about it...
I am interested in getting it, when ever it comes out.. Mostly
everything I've heard has been good (someone once said something
about 40 swaps to copy a disk.. can anyone confirm/deny this??).
I don't know how far this note will get- I've heard rumors that
bitnet isn't working well, and I havn't gotten any mail for a while..

January 1988 Computer SHopper contains an article on the politics and specificatins of the GOE and DIAMOND graphic operating systems soon to be released in cartridge form for the Atari. Pick one up at the newstand if you don't have a subscription! Good article, though the reviewer warns that until the carts are released and reviewed together (these being the only two real contenders) any review will be incomplete. -Ric RCH@cup.portal.com
