Ok, folks, here it is again: The 8-bit program archives live on host Score.Stanford.EDU, in directory PS:<INFO-ATARI.8-BIT>. For those of you whose hosts don't yet grok domains, Score's Internet addresses are 10.3.0.11 and 36.8.0.46. To get stuff out of the archives, use your favorite FTP program to connect to Score, and log in as ANONYMOUS, with any password. Set your default directory (in Un*x-speak, 'cd', in TOPS-speak 'connect') to the above-named directory, and get a directory-list. At the top, you should see a file called "-READ-.-ME-". Read it. It tells you what files are where, and how to tell what tools you need (UUdecoders, ARC unpackers etc) to use them. That's about it. Please send any problem reports to me. If anyone has stuff they'd like to submit to the archives, send it to me, preferably with docs etc, and I'll see that it gets in. For those of you without Internet access, the BITNET version of these same archives is open for business, as LISTSERV@VM.TCS.TULANE.EDU. Due to various difficulties, it doesn't yet contain all the stuff that the Internet one does, but it will eventually. Keep those cards and letters coming...
