If you still need help converting let me know.. I have access to both an atari 8bit and an st which I can use to transfer to an ibm type disk.. Is 3.5 disk format good enough? If not then I can get it to 5.25 somehow I am sure.. You can send me the disks and return postage and I will do it for you.. If upon return of the disks you got what you wanted you can send me what you feel it was worth it to you to get it transfered over.. My uucp address elixir@m-net.uucp My us postal address Rodney Fulk 1220 Hamilton NW Grand Rapids, MI 49504 PS. I only have a us doubled 1050 drive available so if its double sided it will be a bit harder..

I was one of those asking about writing IBM-compatible disks on the 8-bit. No one seems to have a way of using unmodified hardware, even with an XF551 disk drive. I really need to do this if possible, as the 8bit is at home and the PC is at work, and I would prefer not to use asynch as I don't have a modem. I have the atari tech notes coming in the mail (finally), and hopefully will be able to figure out how to do it myself. Anybody know how to get docs for the IBM PC/MSDOS (preferably for free?) Wish me luck. -Stan

If anyone still needs help in transfering files from the Atari 8-bit to Macintosh, IBM, ST, and Amiga formats, I can help. I have a program that will convert text files among various computers and I have a ton of hardware to assist me. I also have access to IBM's, Macintoshes and Amigas (I'm at college), as well as ST's (my roommate has a Mega ST2). If you would like help, call me at 716-475-4088. I run a bulletin board from this number, so if you don't have a modem, then contact me at one of the electronic addresses below, preferrably through BITNET. Adios!
