Help! Am trying to use one of my spare Atari's to download files and print them out on a NEC SilentWriter LC-800 laser printer at work. However, none of the standard Atariwriter+ drivers seems to work -- I say seem to, as I have only tried what I thought were logical ones. There is a method of developing your own drivers, but it requires that you know the decimal codes for various items, such as line feeds, etc. I cannot find any of this information in the user book that came with the printer. Am trying to use it in the parallel mode, of course. Can anyone help that may be using a similar setup. (While, it probably is moot, the exact setup is a 800XLE (256k upgrade in 130XE mode, 1050 disk drive, Axiom AT-846 parallel printer interface and centronics parallel cable to parallel port of the NEC.)
